The Helen and David Hains Foundation is a Melbourne-based family philanthropy organisation dedicated to improving the lives of Australians. Over more than 20 years, our funding has supported communities across Australia.

Established in 2004, our foundation (formerly known as the Portland House Foundation) has provided more than 1000 grants to charitable organisations.

The Helen and David Hains was established in 2024 in honour of our parents, Helen and David and their role in establishing both the Portland House Group and the Portland House Foundation.

Helen and David believed in philanthropy as a powerful way to help people overcome disadvantage, and we look forward to continuing this important work.
